Panglao

There is much to do in Second Life, and many ways to be creative.

At this time Jonathan Clapsaddle and me own Panglao, a tropical club and art gallery and for all kinds of art. It is located in the Lanin region and you can find it under ‘my picks’ in my characters profile.

When we have artists that want to display their work in ART HOUSE, I will let you know.

PLEASE NOTE: all the pictures you will find on my blog are made by me.

Some people refer to me as ‘multitalented’, so the list of things I have to offer does not end here.

I like to build alternative structures. Most buildings you find in Second Life are made to be practical and as little prims as possible. There will be many square shaped buildings, simple boxes with boring colors. When there are so many tools to make the craziest structures, why limit them by thinking ‘practical’ only? I like to use many different shapes, to give the buildings an original and eye-catching look. Pretty textures and colors. I guess I consider building to be art more than just practical. Do you want one of those special structures? Just IM me and we will talk about the possibilites.

I also like to fool around with shapes, I have made my own, and have given a few to some close friends. So my avatar’s shapes are all done by me.

I have a CV notecard if  you want to know the details of my skills.

-Below you will find examples of the structures I have made-

Arthouse Blair

This was our Arthouse in blair, I wanted it to be icy and elegant. did a pretty good job I think.

Test Dancefloor

This was  a little test for a dancefloor when I was fooling around with the idea of starting my own club.

Teardrop Lookout point

One of my favourites, simple yet attractive. The Teardrop Lookout Point. It floats in the Blair Region near Arthouse.

Skybox Alpha 'red'

The so called Skybox Alpha, two floors and a rotating floor underneath. My temporary home, and I like it. It was a tricky design in had in my mind, but it actually worked out.

old C&S office 1

The old office building where I used to work with Clappsadle. Notice the floating building on the left? That was the entertainment centre. I like that structure, but never managed to get a good picture of it.

old C&S office 2

This was the mainstructure of the Clapsaddle and Steenbock office. I can see quite some flaws with it now(texture and color wise), but back then it was something to be proud of.
